Swiss Medical Care has been invited to present its strategy at BioData 2005, the leading Biotechnology event in Switzerland. Swiss Medical Care has been represented by its CFO: Mr. Philippe Rao as invited speaker. Besides leading biotechnology companies like Pfizer, Novartis and Serono, Swiss Medical Care has been selected as one of the successful example of start-up company present throughout the world with high-technology medical products. Its core product, the “CT Expres Advanced Contrast Media Injector for CT Scan”, received the prestigious Medical Device Excellence Award in 2004 in New York. Swiss Medical Care SA (SMC) was founded by end of 2003, when Debiotech SA and a Group of Private Investors created a new company specialising in sales and marketing in the field of Diagnostic Imaging. Swiss Medical Care’s first product portfolio: "CT Exprés™ Advanced Contrast Media Delivery System" is the result of over 6 years of development targeted at better satisfying customer’s needs, cost containment considerations and safety concerns in the Diagnostic Imaging arena.
